Timeline – How long does it take?
Each website project takes 4–6 weeks from start to finish. The timeline may extend depending on how quickly feedback and content are provided.Start Date – When can we begin?
Once your 50% deposit is paid, you’ll schedule your start date directly through Calendly.Content – Do you write it for me?
I provide conversion-optimized templates for all core pages (Homepage, About, Book Page, Body of Work, Contact). You’ll fill them in, and I’ll refine as needed to make sure they shine.Platform – What do you use?
I build exclusively on Squarespace. It’s beautiful, intuitive, secure, and easy for authors to maintain. I’ll also show you how to make your own edits.Timing – What if I don’t have a book out yet?
That’s actually the perfect time. An author website isn’t just for books, it’s your professional home for agents, readers, and media.Support – Do you offer ongoing help?
Yes. After launch, I’m just an email away if you break something or need a quick fix. My priority is to empower you, so I’ll also show you how to easily update text and images yourself.Downloadables – Can I offer free printables or downloads?
Absolutely. We can add a “Reader Resources” or “Extras” section where visitors download files (cards, coloring sheets, guides) in exchange for joining your email list.Animations – Can we add dynamic or moving elements?
Yes. I can weave in subtle animations and scroll effects (parallax, transitions, or character-inspired accents) to bring personality without overwhelming the site.Legal – What about a privacy policy, cookies, and reCAPTCHA?
Squarespace includes SSL security and a GDPR-compliant cookie banner. I’ll also add a simple privacy policy page and enable reCAPTCHA for safe forms.Analytics – Does Squarespace track site data?
Yes. Squarespace has built-in analytics (traffic, popular pages, geography, etc.). I can also connect Google Analytics (GA4) for deeper insights and long-term tracking.
